So, that explains why Lady Gaga was wearing a Christmas tree on her head during an outing in London over the weekend.
Not that anything could really explain wearing a Christmas tree on one's head, but it's as much of an explanation as we could have hoped for.
Gaga was seen sporting the eccentric holiday-themed ensemble after performing at the "Jingle Bell Ball" at London's O2 arena on Sunday.
During the show, the pop star performed a couple of her new songs from the 'ARTPOP' album, and some old favorites like "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face."
Of course, the "Jingle Bell Ball" wouldn't be complete without a Christmas song, so Mother Monster indulged the audience.
Check out the clip above to see Lady Gaga play her aptly entitled version of "The Christmas Song," on a car door-turned piano, which actually turns into an acapella version of "Poker Face."
