Carrie Underwood Carrie Underwood's 'The Sound of music Live!' production brought in tons of ratings and landed 18.5 million viewers for the live broadcast...but that didn't stop Saturday Night Live from doing a spoof!

In the segment, SNL's Kate McKinnon took on Carrie's role of Maria von Trapp and Tran Killiam portrayed Captain von Trapp. The spoof took the show's three-hour highlights and warped it into a few minutes, including a hilarious rendition of the song "Do Re Me," complete with a few lines clearly geared to adult humor.

Hopefully Carrie thought the spoof was funny and didn't get upset over it. She wasn't amused by the backlash she received after the production aired on TV.

"Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus," Carrie tweeted the day after the show aired on NBC.

"They will be in my prayers tonight... 1 Peter 2:1-25," she added.
