The Nashville Symphony was suffering from huge financial issues earlier this year and now she's helped them out in a huge way.
The group was almost handed a foreclosure on its concert hall, the Schermerhorn, in June but was saved after they cut their employees' salaries by 15 percent. Now, thanks to Nashville native Taylor, the orchestra has $100,000 thanks to her generous donation.
On her birthday to singer gave the Nashville Symphany the huge donation. She had performed there before and was even given awards by them.
We're not surprised by Taylor's generosity though. She pledged $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2012 and gave 14,000 children's books to the Nashville Public Library the same year. She also recently opened up her own learning center for kids as well.
David Pomeroy, the president of Local 257 of the American Federation of Musicians, of which Taylor and the orchestra's musicians are members was quick to talk up Tay's offer to them.
"Taylor Swift has set a great example," David said.
"And I hope that others will follow her lead and help ensure that the Nashville Symphony musicians' salaries can be restored as soon as possible."
