John Mayer and Katy Perry are absolutely adorable together.
They're both witty and they say such sweet things about each other, but as it turns out, they might not say all those sweet things TO each other...at least not verbally, anyway.
During her recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Katy revealed that she and John have to save their voices when they're home, which sometimes means not talking to each other for days!
"Sometimes we do have to go on vocal rest," she explained. "No whispering, no anything...there's just a lot of silence in our house."
Don't worry, though, they've figured out a way around it, thanks to modern technology!
Katy recalls during John's vocal chord injury that they communicated via the iPad, but she explained that since they're both musicians, they have a mutual understanding and respect for each other.
Fortunately, when they DO use their voices together, they make beautiful music!
