Carly Rae Jepsen is set to make her mark on New York's most famous theater scene.

The "Call Me Maybe" singer is heading to Broadway, set to make her debut in Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella next year.

"Sooooo... I'm ready to spill my NYC secret," Carly tweeted Sunday. "I am going to be playing Cinderella on Broadway starting Feb. 4th! Dream come true."

According to USA Today, Carly will take over the lead role in the play from Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes for 12 weeks.

Fran Drescher will also star in the play as Cinderella's stepmother, Madame.

While Carly is best known for her hit song "Call Me Maybe," the Canadian songstress actually started out in musical theater in high school, performing in Annie, Grease and more.
