The 27-year-old rapper is mourning the loss of his younger brother Kayo Redd aka Caodes Scott, who reportedly died Sunday, according to MTV.

Waka's mother and manager, Debra Antney confirmed the news on Twitter Saturday night, tweeting, "I just lost another son;" Another one of Waka's brothers died in a car accident when the hip-hop star was only 13 years old.

Following the news of Kayo's death, Nicki Minaj posted a shot of the aspiring Atlanta rapper on Instagram Monday, captioning the shot, "Devastated by the loss of this precious soul... Always so sweet to me... I cant even... Sending prayers and all my love to Deb, Waka, Wooh, Quam, Big Joe, Bimmy, the entire fam... Gone too soon Kayo... Gone way too soon."

Specific details regarding Kayo's death have not been confirmed, but police investigating his passing reportedly told TMZ "all evidence points to suicide" from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Henry County P.D. told the site Kayo's body was discovered Sunday night in the Georgia subdivision where he resided.

Results are pending from his autopsy, which was conducted Monday.
