She was released after serving only a year and a half of her five-year sentence and apparently was doing so well in prison, she was actually teaching anger management classes to fellow inmates.

After her release, Amber appeared on Dr. Phil and made a shocking confession, saying that every time we saw her on Teen Mom, she was high.

While Amber was in jail, her ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley took care of their 5-year-old daughter, Leah, whom he was awarded custody of back in 2011.

Leah didn't see her mom a lot while she was in prison, so one would assume they have a lot of catching up to do, but according to a new report by OK! magazine (via RadarOnline), it sounds like Amber is in for a fight if she wants to spend time with her daughter.

"Well, everyone knows that she went to jail for drugs and stuff," they cite Gary as saying. "I'm not saying that she'll ever get back into that, but I hear stories of how easy it is [to relapse] because that pressure is always there."

"It's going to stay the way it is, to protect Leah," he continued.

Maybe if Amber can prove that she's really turned her life around, Gary will give her more time with Leah?

What would you do if you were Gary?
