Miley Cyrus may be sick with a cough this week, but you'd never know it!

The 21-year-old knocked it out of the park in Times Square for the New Year's Rockin' Eve celebration, where she performed two of her songs just before the ball dropped to usher in the new year.

Dressed in a long white fur coat and a midriff-baring gold bodysuit, Miley performed "Get It Right" and "Wrecking Ball," the latter of which she got a little emotional during.

As Miley sang the words "don't you ever say I just walked away, I will always want you..." she stopped, put her hand to her face and briefly paused before finishing the rest of the song.

This isn't the first time Miley has had a tough time singing that particular song, which is supposedly about her relationship with former fiance Liam Hemsworth.

During her iHeartRadio performance shortly after their split, Miley cried on stage during the emotional ballad.

Well, here's to a much happier new year!
