Shakira and Rihanna just surprised their fans by revealing that they collaborated on a song together.

Shak broke the news first, posting a picture of two side-by-side director's chairs with each of their names on them.

"You guys ready? Jan 13 is almost here!" she captioned the photo.

Rihanna followed shortly after, posting the same picture, teasing fans with a one-week countdown.

The song is entitled "Can't Remember to Forget You" and it looks like Shak will get the song credit, with a featured appearance by RiRi.

There have also been rumors that Rihanna will be collaborating with BFF Katy Perry soon, and Katy seemed to confirm that one would eventually happen in a recent interview with E! News.

"We've actually been talking about it for years, so we can't let anyone down," Katy revealed to 102.7 KIIS FM. "We have to do the best song ever. Beyond that, I think we'll definitely get around to it and when it happens, you are going to know."

For the time being, we'll just sit tight and enjoy the Rihanna/Shakira collaboration, which will undoubtedly be amazing!
