Someone slow down Miley Cyrus! There were all kinds of reports that Miley was caught drag racing with friends down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles last week after her pal Travis Kipp posted a pic of the singer in a smart car on Instagram but that's actually not the case at all. Miley CyrusSomeone slow down Miley Cyrus!

There were all kinds of reports that the "Adore You" singer was caught drag racing with friends down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles last week after her pal Travis Kipp posted a pic of the singer in a smart car on Instagram.

"Miley tried to race us down Sunset Boulevard in a smart car. Needless to say we won," Travis' photo was captioned.

Of course, everyone assumed Miley was being a bad ass that night and illegally street racing but that wasn't what went down.

The picture Miley's friend took looked totally innocent with Miley sticking her tongue out in the passenger seat. Now E! News is reporting that she was in fact NOT drag racing that night and was just simply joking and cruising safely with friends.

"Miley and I have a bunch of mutual friends and she pulled up next to us in her friend's smart car. She was not driving. And we were next to her in a suped up '57 Thunderbird. We were just joking around saying 'Oh lets drag race,' but we didn't drag race at all. We were sitting at a stoplight," Travis told E!.

Ahh, it all makes sense now. Poor Miley, she can't have any kind of fun without people bugging out! It's not like she really cared about the whole thing anyway. Travis revealed that she didn't even know people were hyping it up until he told her about it!

Do you think people are too quick to judge Miley these days? Tell us what you think about this situation!
