Jay-Z's wife writes an essay under the name Beyonce Knowles-Carter for The Shriver Report about pay inequality for men and women Celebrity Sighting In Miami - December 30, 2013She's one of the most rich and powerful women in the world, but Beyonce, who earned $95 million between her and Jay-Z in 2013, says women aren't treated equally as well as men when it comes to money.

The "XO" singer wrote an interesting essay for The Shriver Report titled "Gender Equality Is a Myth" and bylines herself as "Beyonce Knowles-Carter."

Jay-Z's wife writes about the disparity in wages between both sexes. "Today, women make up half of the U.S. workforce, but the average working woman earns only 77 percent of what the average man makes. But unless women and men both say this is unacceptable, things will not change."

Blue Ivy's mom also points out that females are the majority in our country. "Women are more than 50 percent of the population and more than 50 percent of voters," Bey explains. "We must demand that we all receive 100 percent of the opportunities."
