Fortunately for the rapper, he seems to have bounced back from the incident, although it definitely took some time.

In a very candid chat with Interview magazine (via GossipCop), Kanye makes a shocking statement about how he dealt with all of the negative backlash from the incident.

"God, sex and alcohol," are what he credits with helping him through that time. "Just enough religion, a half-cup of alcohol with some ice in it and a nice chaser, and then... a lot of sex. And then I'd make it to the next week."

Kind of ironic, considering that Kanye admitted to being drunk when the incident occurred. "I would not want some crazy drunk rock star cutting my daughter off," he told Ryan Seacrest last October when reflecting on the situation.

Drunk or not, it seems Kanye is standing by his statement. "But," he clarified, "my daughter would 100% also be like, 'Yes Beyonce did have the best video.' That's what my daughter would do!"
