Liam Payne's tweet about 'Duck Dynasty' started quite a buzz, but the One Direction's star set the record straight on Twitter. Also, did Liam quit Twitter? One Direction's Liam Payne Forced To Defend His View On Gays
Liam Payne came under fire for tweeting his support of Duck Dynasty's "family values" over the weekend, then let loose with an epic rant against journalists.

He had a rough go of it, but Liam's fans continue to support him, so all is not lost.

Still, Liam's sister took to Twitter to give a little more insight into what was going on with the 1D star, saying that he had "no idea" about the controversy surrounding the show.

Ruth tweeted: "My brother tweeted he respected family values not that he supports them."

When asked if he's okay, Ruth responded, "no," adding, "at the moment he just needs a break."

She further explained, "Thing is hes just been catching up on tv n he said this was on the other day n he thought it was good how they were together."

Ruth continued,"i called him last night n said mate whats ur tweet mean. he said the shows good and there a nice working family, so i said do you know what the dads said."

And, guess, what? He didn't know about it at all, as she explained, "he had no idea hes only jus started watching tv after 3 yrs and he said oh ruth what have i done.. again i cant do anything right can i , he literally had no idea :("

Yep, it's kind of breaking our hearts too.

Meanwhile, Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty responded to Liam's original tweet, writing: "@Real_Liam_Payne Thanks bro. Congrats to u boys as well. Y'all keep rockin, we'll keep quackin. Stay strong in this nutty world."
