Ke$ha shocked her fans when she entered rehab on January 3 to receive treatment for an eating disorder. The singer said in a 2013 American Music Awards - Roaming ShowKe$ha shocked her fans when she entered rehab on January 3 to receive treatment for an eating disorder.

In a statement to E! News, the singer said, "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I've found it hard to practice...I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder...to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am."

Since entering treatment, we haven't heard anything from the "Timber" singer, although her mom Pebe Sebert has spoken out a few times about her daughter, providing some insight into just how bad things got and what she thinks contributed to her daughter's problem.

Finally, for the first time, Ke$ha herself is speaking out. In a series of tweets posted to her account this morning, a friend shared a message that Ke$ha reportedly asked her to post, as she does not have access to her Twitter at the moment.
