Obviously, it sparked a pretty intense debate, as such hot-button issues tend to do and when one fan asked Kailyn to weigh in on her co-star's decision, she wasn't shy about voicing her opinion.

"How do you stand by this crap? You're an amazing mother...it doesn't sicken you?" a Twitter user asked.

Kailyn responded, "Everyone goes through different things. I'm pro choice and I wasn't in Jenelle's shoes :/"

Other fans weighed in with their own thoughts on the subject, but Kailyn didn't join in on the debate, she just stated her feelings and left it at that.

Some weren't just mad at Jenelle, though. Many people took issue with the fact that MTV aired the process when Jenelle was going to get the abortion pill and even showed her dealing with some side-effects in between doses.

As for Jenelle, she did an interview shortly before the show aired and said that she doesn't regret the abortion and that she was prepared for the backlash. Given that this isn't her first controversial decision, she's probably pretty used to it by now.

Jenelle is currently married to Courtland Rogers, but she is dating Nathan Griffith and Jenelle recently revealed that they are expecting their first child together. They each have a child from a previous relationship, but neither one has custody.
