After winning Best Rap Album, the rapper texts Kendrick Lamar saying sorry that he "robbed" him and wanted him to win instead MacklemoreAfter winning Best Rap Album at the Grammys, most people would be celebrating.

But Macklemore was apologizing to Kendrick Lamar, a contender in his category, via text after his big win for The Heist.

"You got robbed," the message, which he posted a screenshot of on Instagram, reads. "I wanted you to win. You should have. It's weird and sucks that I robber you. I was gonna say that during the speech. Then the music started playing during my speech and I froze. Anyway, you know what it is."

He went on congratulate Kendrick and ended the text with: "Much love."

There's been no reply from Kendrick on social media just yet, but we think it was very nice of Macklemore to reach out.

And can we also talk about how many unread texts he has?! (1133, to be exact.) We guess when you win 4 Grammys and have a groundbreaking performance with Madonna, you get a lot of well-wishes!

Congrats, Macklemore!
