There wasn't an awkward moment when we chatted with That Awkward Moment star Mackenzie Davis! Check out the 5 things you should know about her. Mackenzie Davis is an actress you're going to hear and see a whole lot of in 2014.

The Vancouver native appears with hotties Zac Efron, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan in That Awkward Moment. Luckily there wasn't an awkward moment when we chatted with Mackenzie. Check out the 5 things you should know about her.

5: She had never met any of the guys from That Awkward Moment before, but says, "They were all so funny and sweet. I thought it would be an intimidating world to jump into--they all had very tight relationships--but it felt totally natural."

4: She thinks people should keep it simple when it comes to dating. "There doesn't need to be weird perverted rules to dating," Mackenzie told us. "If you like someone--go out with them and stop trying to make it into some sort of multi-tier-like treasure quest. Just be honest with them."

3: Mackenzie recently worked alongside Vanessa Hudgens and Nicholas Braun on a new film called Kitchen Sink (which is about a town where humans, vampires and zombies all get along until something unexpected happens). "We finished in September and it was so fun to work on. Everyone was just so cool, kind and hilarious--the most fun experience. I think it's supposed to be released in January next year."

2: In addition to That Awkward Moment and Kitchen Sink, she worked on a few more projects in 2013 that'll be released this year. "I have a movie called Breathe In coming out in March and I think The F Word is coming out in May." (Breathe In also stars Guy Pierce and Felicity Jones, and she's joined by Daniel Radcliffe in The F Word.)

1: And as if acting in all those films weren't enough, Mackenzie also landed her dream role in a TV series as a computer programming prodigy. "Right now I'm working on a show for AMC called Halt & Catch Fire--up to this point it's my dream role," she said. "I've never seen a character like her on TV or movies before."

That Awkward Moment will be out in theaters on January 31.
