An Alabama high school student is in deep trouble for Instagramming a photo of herself with a dead body.
The students were visiting the University of Alabama's biology department for a field trip, and were told no cell phones or photos were allowed during their tour.
However, this girl clearly didn't heed the warning and shared a smiling shot of her face right next to a cadaver, which is a corpse used for medical research and organ donation. Cadavers' faces were supposed to be kept covered by sheets during the tour.
Although she's since removed the photo which was obtained by WHNT 19 News after a classmate screenshotted the post and alerted school officials, the high schooler is still in hot water for her terrible judgement.
"A student was made explicitly aware of these policies and breached them. This kind of disrespect is unacceptable and very disappointing. We will review our processes to ensure this does not happen again," a statement from the university to WSFA 12 News reads.
School officials are currently questioning students at Clements High.
We're guessing that'll be the end of the biology department tours?
