Snow day announcements are always a good thing, but this is the best one we've ever seen!

Two creative school officials at Durham Academy, a pre-K through 12 private school in North Carolina, decided to announce that there was no school today due to winter storm Pax by making their own lyrics to Vanilla Ice's hit "Ice Ice Baby."

"Alright stop, collaborate and listen," they begin. "Ice is back and the roads will glisten. Sleet falling down like a million missiles, bringing school delays and early dismissals."

"We had fun with it. It was very spur of the moment," the rapping head of school told CNN.

The school only has 1,110 students but their funny announcement video has become a viral hit and already has more than 175,000 views.

Schools having fun with closure announcements is a new trend. Last week, a Kentucky principal broke the news of no school with a version of "Bohemian Rhapsody."
