A 13-year-old boy is in hot water after allegedly hitting a cop with a pile of snow in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune. So much so, that he's racked up a felony charge (seriously).
The police officer actually reported that the eighth-grader threw the snowball and hit him in the arm while he sat in a marked squad car. The student, meanwhile, denied throwing the snowball and said that, regardless, it didn't hit the officer directly.
In spite of his claims, the teen was still arrested and charged with battery to a police officer.
Meanwhile, Chicago still leads the nation in the number of murders committed, according to the Daily Beast, which kinda makes it seem like the officer's talents could've been used elsewhere.
So...was the snowball toss really that serious? Did the police officer overreact? Tell us what you think in the comments.
