The Winklevoss twins are heading to outer space.

If you recall from the movie The Social Network, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss are the duo that claimed they came up with the idea for Facebook and took CEO Mark Zuckerberg to court over it. According to CNN Money, they reportedly bought their $250,000 ticket on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo with Bitcoin (a new digital currency).

"How will going to #space affect identical twins? We'll soon find out! Welcome aboard the Winklevoss twins," Richard tweeted Wednesday.

The Winklevoss twins will be in good company on their trip, considering Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio and more stars have all bought tickets as well, according to Entrepreneur.

As for when the spaceship will take flight, Richard expects to begin commercial spaceflights around Christmastime this year. So, we want to know...if you had the money, would you book a seat on Richard's spaceship? And would you still go after watching Gravity. Tell us in the comments.
