It's never too early to start teaching your kids the important lessons in life, like how to take the perfect selfie. If you're ever going to get anywhere in the social media world, this is obvi something you need to master ASAP.

Jessica Simpson is teaching her 22-month-old the fine art of selfie-snapping and it looks like little Maxwell already knows what she's supposed to do. Cue the duck lips--except they're a lot cuter on a kid. "Hot tub selfie," she captioned the photo of herself and her mini-me.

It looks like it was family fun day at the Simpson/Johnson house, with Jess posting a photo of her and her fiance, Eric Johnson, kissing about an hour before she shared the mommy and me jacuzzi shot.

The fashion designer has shared a lot of family photos on Instagram since joining the social media site back in January, including a pic of herself with sister Ashlee Simpson just after she got engaged and some really sweet shots of her kids.

She has also included some not-as-family-friendly snaps, including one where she was wearing some sort of bra/lingerie type situation and another one of herself engaged in a three-way kiss with two gal pals.

It's kind of weird when you scroll through and the grid is like: kid, kid, kid, whoa mama!, kid, kid and baby, NSFW, baby--but you know what, it's her Instagram and she can mix it up as much as she wants to.

At the end of the day, we're just happy to see that Maxwell is so far advanced that she's already learning how to snap selfies. Your move, North West.
