Not in the bad sense though. Shakira insisted that in spite of that little tidbit, Rihanna is "very down to earth" and they've developed a friendship. "She is still the girl next door - approachable and humble," she told the UK Sun. "We are friends and text each other, but our lives are in different geographic places. She's quite a busy woman and so am I," she said of her "Can't Remember to Forget You" collaborator.
Speaking of songs, Shakira said she could never write enough to honor her boyfriend (and baby daddy) Gerard Pique. "I've written many love songs for Gerard. But it's never enough. I feel that he deserves a million love songs written for him." The singer also admitted that Gerard is the reason we probably won't see her grinding on other men in music videos anymore.
She recently told Billboard, "He's very territorial, and since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women." Perhaps another Rihanna-Shakira duet is in order? Who else would you like to see Shakira make a video with now that guys are pretty much out? Tell us in the comments.
