President Obama might be one of the most powerful people in the world, but to daughters Sasha and Malia, he's just plain old dad. In fact, during a new interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the Prez dished about the unique strategy he and Michelle have employed to try to discourage the girls from getting tattoos--and it's brilliant. (Please scroll to the 2:45-minute mark above.)

"We will reduce the cool factor of any tattoo," he explains. So, how's he gonna do that? Barack and Michelle have told their daughters that if they get a tattoo, Mom and Dad are going to get the exact same one in the exact same place and then they'll make the kids take a family tattoo photo.

"Michelle and I will be right there and we'll post it so that everybody will be able to see it," the doting dad dished. "I suspect that'll be a pretty good deterrent." Um, yeah, that would do it. In fact, for most kids, just the idea of having to take a family photo is usually punishment enough...never mind the whole tattoo thing, which is totally mortifying btw.

Well played, Prez.
