Has Sam & Cat been canceled? Rumors are swirling after Jennette McCurdy boycotted the Kids' Choice Awards, then cryptically tweeted that something had gone wrong between her and Nickelodeon.

Has a feud been brewing between Jennette and the kids network? Is she fighting with co-star Ariana Grande? TMZ.com reports that Jennette is upset because Ariana makes more money than her.

So, what's going on?

Here's what we know: Jennette skipped out on the KCAs, later tweeting about a beef with Nickelodeon (she said she was "put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation" but insisted it wasn't because of those racy selfie pics) and she unfollowed Ariana on Twitter. Neither star has made any comment about a feud between them in their recent Twitter activity, however. The network is claiming that Sam & Cat has not been cancelled (yet, anyway) and that they are taking a scheduled production hiatus.

A rep for the network told FOX411, "We have the utmost respect for Jennette McCurdy," explaining that "there is no connection" between the star's leaked photos and Sam & Cat's break.

Nickelodeon released a statement that said: "We are wrapping up what was an unusually long production cycle of Sam & Cat, and everyone is understandably tired. We are going into our production hiatus next week which will give everyone on the show a much needed rest."

FOX411 also reports that the rep told the site that Sam & Cat was not canceled and will return in the fall.

As for money issues, behind-the-scenes drama between the co-stars, contract negotiations and what Jennette's tweets meant? As you'd expect...Nickelodeon declined to comment.
