Lorde Channels Her Inner Kurt Cobain at Nirvana's Hall of Fame Induction (WATCH)

Nirvana fans prepare yourself...Our girl Lorde did her thing to the band's hit song "All Apologies" Thursday night at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and we really weren't that impressed.

Totally putting her touch on the classic tune, Lorde just didn't do justice like Kurt Cobain did. Plus, it was just weird that they picked her to do such a tribute for a band that was around before she was even like... born. We get it though, she's edgy and trendy like Nirvana was so they thought she'd be a great fit. Her pink suit outfit WAS pretty spec-tac...

Lorde's "All Apologies" peformance wasn't horrible, but we prefer her belting out "Royals" any day. The whole thing would've been a lot better if she would've added her own spin to the song, maybe slowing it down or even speeding it up with different beats. It was a little too karaokee-like for us.

Either way, we give her props for doing it. Check out Lorde's Nirvana cover above.
