Need another reason to love Cody Simpson? He likes Beyonce. 'Nuff said. The pop star's recent hit 'Surfboard' definitely seems like it's more about surfing than Beyonce's reference to the sexual position in 'Drunk in Love', but that doesn't mean she didn't inspire the sexy song.

"I've been surfing my whole life. It's just been part of my music ever since I can remember," he explained to Fuse News. "Beyonce came out with 'Drunk in Love' and really made that term a part of pop culture. She definitely kind of cemented the sexual innuendo into the term."

Is THAT the reason why Cody chose his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, to be in the video with him?! "To have her in it made it so natural," he explained. Um, yeah, we would think so...plus, if we were Gigi, we wouldn't want our boyfriend shooting those sexy scenes with anyone else.

Fortunately for her (but unfortunately for us) Gigi also doesn't have to see him getting steamy with other girls on the dance floor anymore, either, because he was just eliminated from Dancing With the Stars.

In the clip above, Cody opens up about why he has mixed emotions about getting axed from the show. We, however, are very sure about the way we feel. In fact, we still haven't come to terms with the fact that we won't see him and all of his hotness Samba-ing around that stage anymore.
