Bethany made her first YouTube video at 13 after a former friend began bullying her online. "I was actually cyber bullied but then I found the positive side of the internet that was this amazing community of a bunch of girls my age talking about what they got at the mall, or how they like to do their makeup, which seems a little superficial but to be honest, it gave me something to distract myself from what was going on in my life and I really related to what the girls were saying, so I decided I wanted to make videos of my own," she shared during the Unleash YouTube event in NYC.
Now, more than 2 million fans who call themselves "Motavators" tune in to her videos every day, which cover shopping, fashion, beauty and DIY projects. Did we mention she's also got her own clothing line with Aeropostale? Way to show those cyberbullies, Bethany!
