The American Idol judge said she was horrified at first at the idea of it, but soon loosened up after she got some encouragement from her 6-year-old twins Max and Emme. During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday, J.Lo said, "There's a song called Big Booty on the album. It's a Diplo track. At first I said 'Never in my life will I do a song called Big Booty'. But, then I was in the car with my twins and as soon as they heard Big Booty they went crazy. They loved this song and because of that I recorded it.'"
Speaking of J.Lo's kids, it looks like her son Max might be headed for a music career of his own one day.
"My son has a very good ear - he could be the next Clive Davis," the singer-actress continued. "I don't know what I want him to do, I just want him to be happy but he can pick the big smashes on the first listen."
While she didn't reveal what her little ones think about her hit "I Luh Ya Papi," J.Lo did translate the lyrics for Jimmy Kimmel, who joked that older people might not understand the song. If they didn't know what she meant before, they'll definitely know now! Check out the video above.
