You know when you drive through a "dead zone" and you feel like your entire life has suddenly become meaningless and empty? Yeah, well this new line of clothing lets you take the dead zone with you.
It apparently uses radio frequency shielding to help people unplug and focus more on what's really going on around them. Like, maybe their own lunch instead of pictures of the salad that girl you haven't seen in 10 years just got served.
We get what they're trying to say, we're all a little too addicted to our phones, which is probably true. But proper use of the "silent" function, or hell, even just a little bit of self-control and we've got the situation under control. Let US decide when it's time to electronically check out...and when we want to check back in, thank you.
If the clothes were a little more appealing, we might be willing to sacrifice some precious time with our electronic device of choice for the sake of making a fashion statement (then we'd totally Instagram a selfie in said outfit later). Since 'aluminum foil chic' is not our exactly style, however, we're gonna go ahead and take a pass.
Ironically, the clothing line is part of a collaboration with Trident gum, the same people who brought us this brilliant life hack so that we'd never have to leave home without our laptop.
