Too little, too late? Robin Thicke took last night's win and performance at the Billboard Music Awards as an opportunity to publicly woo back his estranged wife Paula Patton again.

The high school sweethearts announced their separation in February after 8 years of marriage, but Robin refuses to give up on their relationship despite the fact that the writing seems to be on the wall.

While accepting Best R&B Single, he gave Paula a shoutout in his speech like they were totally together. "Most importantly, I'd like to thank my wife for her love and support, and putting up with me all these years," he said.

And later, he performed a new song called "Get Her Back" during the show, which featured lyrics like: "I gotta get her, go get back her/I gotta treat her right/I gotta cherish her for life."

We couldn't help but compare this heartfelt performance to his infamous MTV VMA one with Miley Cyrus, where he let Miley Twerk all over on him and grope him with a foam finger. Do you think Paula should give him another shot?
