With a big smile on her face and tears in her eyes, The American Idol judge became the first woman ever to win the award, telling the crowd, "My family, my personal team, my cousins, my sisters, my friends, you've all been such a huge part of this along the way. I don't know how I could have done this without you. Thank you to Benny Medina. No one has ever shown me how to dream bigger."
"I wanna thank my mum and dad, my mother who has always been there... and my dad for being the steady rock of love he always was for us, she continued. "Thank you to my babies, Max and Emme. You are the light of my life and the reason for anything and everything that I do," she continued.
As the music started playing, Jennifer started getting teary, adding while pointing to her boyfriend Casper Smart, "Beau, I love you."
The American Idol star started dating her 27-year-old dancer beau in 2011, after splitting from ex-husband Marc Anthony. While J.Lo has made it no secret she is head over heels for Casper, she isn't exactly sure if she wants to tie the knot for a fourth time.
When asked back in January if she wanted to get married again in the future, J.Lo said, "I don't know. We'll see. I don't know. You know, I've always believed in that institution. I believe in it, but it is difficult. I've had my challenges, but at the same time I believe in love, and I think that is the main thing."
