The Harry Potter star graduated from Brown University Sunday, receiving her bachelor's degree in English literature, according to the Associated Press.
Emma went on to post a selfie on Twitter, rocking pink lips and her graduation cap, and captioning the shot with an exclamation point.
The 24-year-old actress started studying at Brown in 2009, and put her acting career during her senior year to focus on her studies. Back in 2011, she did the opposite, taking a break from college to promote the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise.
In an interview with the Sunday Times earlier this year, Emma dished on what it was like to attend the university as a celebrity, saying, "On the first day, I walked into the canteen and everyone went completely silent and turned to look at me," she said. "I had to say to myself, 'It's okay, you can do this. You just have to take a deep breath and gather your courage.'"
After that, things got easier, she said. ""I've never even been asked for an autograph on campus," she said in 2013. "I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook."
That aside, Emma still brought an undercover police officer with her to the ceremony, who escorted the actress on to the university's campus, according to the National Post.
