Malia Obama could very easily sit back and do nothing for the rest of her life - if she wanted to, but she doesn't want to. In fact, the President's oldest daughter is already working at her very first job and no, she didn't just walk in like she owned the place.
Malia has been on the set of the new CBS series Extant, working as a Production Assistant (aka one of the LEAST glamorous jobs in Hollywood). We've heard all kinds of horror stories about the things PA's have had to do, which frequently include fetching coffee, cleaning toilets and other not-so-amazing daily duties.
While we highly doubt anyone would ever ask the First Daughter to clean a toilet, it sounds like Malia has been working pretty hard.
Camryn Manheim, one of the show's stars, opened up about working with Malia, telling Entertainment Tonight that she's "graceful, and lovely, and just charming and delightful." She also added that Malia is "charming, in charge of herself" and has "so much poise."
Basically, she's everything we thought she would be. We give Malia huge props for setting out to make her own way and being willing to start from the bottom in order to prove herself. You go, girl!
