Ben & Jerry's just unveiled two new yummy ice cream flavors inspired by Saturday Night Live sketches, with the chocolate-infused desserts dubbed "Lazy Sunday" and "Gilly's Catastrophic Crunch."
Lazy Sunday is based on the sketch of the same name that features comedians Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell talking about their love for Magnolia cupcakes, according to the Huffington Post. The ice cream treat has a vanilla cake batter ice cream base with chocolate and yellow cupcake pieces and a chocolate frosting swirl.
Meanwhile, Gilly's Catastrophic Crunch has chocolate and sweet cream ice cream mixed with caramel cluster, fudge-covered almonds and a marshmallow swirl.
The latter flavor is inspired by Kristen Wiig's former quirky character Gilly, with both flavors being sold only in Ben and Jerry's scoop shops. Ben and Jerry's is also set to release to more flavors inspired by the NBC late night show later this year in honor of SNL's official 40th anniversary.
We can't wait to try it.
