Entrepreneur Barbie has joined LinkedIn.
Why? She's on the networking site to promote her latest business venture as a "Dream Incubator," in which she consults and helps girls around the world "play out their imagination, try on different careers and explore the world around them." Her company tagline is "If You Can Dream It, You Can Be It."
To keep it professional, Barbie left out mentions of Ken and kept her party dresses in her dream house. Instead, she opted for a professional pic for her page, pulling her hair back into a high ponytail, and rocking a conservative pink and black dress with a bejeweled necklace.
"I got my big break in 1959 to inspire girls to dream big. Since then I've had 150+ careers, but my true calling remains – encourage generations of girls to place no limitations on their ambitions," Barbie wrote on her profile.
As you might imagine, 150 careers can be tough to simplify on a resume. Barbie hasn't been able to get hers under twenty pages (!), so she doesn't have one to post on the site just yet. She has, after all, been everything from a fashion designer to an equestrian to a presidential candidate.
And with her latest career venture, she's helping other entrepreneurs too, by featuring fellow female entrepreneurs she admires on her page. So far, she has over 4,700 followers.
Watch out Valeria Lukyanova.
