Model Chrissy Teigen Says Forever 21 Fired Her for Being Too Fat

There are a lot of words we could use to describe Chrissy Teigen, but fat is absolutely not on that list. Clearly, that is something we don't have in common with Forever 21.

In a new interview with DuJour magazine, the model opened up about a gig she once had with the budget retailer where they actually fired her because they thought she was fat.

Perhaps that's the same person who invented the controversial size "000" for J.Crew? Either way, from where we sit, we're not seein' it.

In a behind-the-scenes video from the DuJour shoot, Chrissy recalled the awful incident.

"They booked me directly when I was much younger. I showed up on set and they asked me if they could take a photo and they shoot that photo off to my agency who then calls me as I'm sitting in the makeup chair and they say, 'You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and you need to come get your measurements taken.' And I hate you, Forever 21. I hate you so much. Honestly, you're the worst."

The 28-year-old recently told Seth Meyers that she doesn't take modeling too seriously, but she clearly takes the inevitable body-shaming aspect of it VERY seriously and we're right behind her on that one. "Too fat, too skinny, too tall, too short," whatever - it's never OK.

Still, we give her credit for having the courage to open up about the incident...and something tells us she doesn't spend her mornings crying into her Cheerios about the Forever 21 gig that could have been.
