The actresses and fellow thesp Brie Larson dressed in drag, doing their best to imitate guys with swag in Jenny Lewis' "Just One of the Guys" music video.
The video kicked off with both Anne and Kristen sporting white suits, with Kristen playing a guitar barefoot and Anne jamming on a piano without shoes on too. They both lip-synched throughout the video, mouthing the words to the song that included, "No matter how hard I try to be one of the guys, there's a little something inside that won't let me."
They did try though, particularly when they switched up their gear to Adidas baseball caps, Adidas tracksuits and mustaches, as they busted out some dance moves. Anne, who rocked a rat-tail, even hit the floor at one point, popped her legs open and breakdanced as she totally got into character.
When asked what it was like to make the music video Jenny told GQ, "We screamed with laughter all day, huddled behind the monitor. I haven't laughed that hard since What About Bob? came out on laser disk."
They certainly looked like they were having fun, especially Annie, who came up with the idea to wear an '80s rat-tail hairstyle (!). "The rat-tail was all Annie," Jenny said. "Deep character exploration. Her dude is a bit more Backstreet Boy than the rest. Melancholy Backstreet Boy is what I think she was going for-he really feels things deeply and break dances like a motherf**ker."
Jenny's upcoming album, The Voyager, drops July 29.
