The app is free to download and the goal is to go from a regular store clerk to bonafide A-lister just like the E! reality star by getting fans, going on photoshoots and dating other famous people. But it's not totally free...you can use real money to buy energy, flights, cars and more.
One Jezebel writer spent $494.04 playing Kim's game, and she's not alone. The game is currently the second most downloaded on iTunes and set to rake in an estimated $200 million by the end of the year.
But what cut of that goes to Kim, who recorded the voice track for the game in just one day? A cool $85 million, according to TMZ. To give you some context, just consider the fact that Kanye West's wife made $28 million total last year from all her endeavours, Forbes reports. So basically she could not work the rest of the year and still have more than doubled her earnings from last year just for doing this silly free game.
Hey, it's Kim's world, and we're all just paying to play it, apparently.
