Tim McGraw might want to think twice about slapping a fan next time. The country singer could be in some legal trouble because of that infamous swat that went down at one of his shows a few weeks ago.

According to TMZ, Jesslyn Taylor, the girl Tim slapped, has hired a lawyer. Her team has already contacted Tim's people, and they want an apology from him, or are threatening a personal injury lawsuit.

Jesslyn's lawyer, Eric Hertz told TMZ that his client was NOT trying to grab Tim's private parts when he went off and slapped her. He says she was an enthusiastic fan who was part of the show's "interactive environment" and merely wanted a touch.

In case you missed the whole thing when it went down, Jesslyn was thrown out of Tim's show after he supposedly thought she was grabbing for his junk and smacked her while he was on stage. She is furious about Tim claiming she was aggressive and feels humiliated. She wants an apology ASAP.

We aren't sure she'll get that, though. The police involved with the case told TMZ they side with Tim and feel he's the victim. So far Tim's team hasn't released a statement about this update in the situation.

Think the fan has a right to take legal action? Think she just wants some of Tim's money? Chime in.
