"You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them," the quote from French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's book "The Little Prince" read. "In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night...You - only you - will have stars that can laugh."
"I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up," Zelda wrote at the bottom of her post.
The Oscar-winning actor passed away Monday at the age of 63 at his home in Tiburon, Calif.; Today, the Marin County Sheriff's Department revealed during a press conference that Robin died from asphyxia due to hanging. His personal assistant found him slightly suspended in a seated position.
Marin County Sheriff's Lt. Keith Boyd told reporters that the actor hanged himself with a belt and had cut himself with a pocketknife. Chemical substances were also found in Robin's system, but toxicology results won't be available until two to six weeks to determine exactly what those chemicals were.
Following the news of Robin's death, tributes poured in from colleagues, family members and friends.
One of those was from Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played his daughter on CBS' The Crazy Ones. "My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams," she said in a statement to E! News. "To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the father I had always dreamed of having."
"There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him," she continued. "I will miss him everyday, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him," she added. "Us crazy ones love you."
