Lady Gaga Completes the Ice Bucket Challenge AND Pledges $10,000 Donation

When Lady Gaga got nominated for the ice bucket challenge, we knew she'd make things interesting.

Someone who is so passionate about art and creativity would not simply stand in the middle of the grass and dump a bucket of ice over their head, would they? Of course not!

First of all, Gaga has a huge heart and in addition to doing the ice dump, she pledged a $10,000 donation to the ALS Foundation...because after all, the reason we're all doing this in the first place is to raise money and awareness for the cause. So, huge props to Mother Monster for assisting on BOTH fronts.

In a heartfelt message posted to her Twitter page, the pop star wrote, "I pledge a $10,000 donation to ALS + I will also ice myself to spread the word. If 1 person is sick the whole world is. We are one body." She also encouraged her Little Monsters to donate $1 apiece and ice themselves to help spread the word.

In her video, Gaga didn't say a thing as she sat with her legs crossed in a black studded leotard and poured the bucket over her head in full performance art fashion. We can't believe she did that indoors!

"#Sharepainshowcompassion," the caption read. She also called out four people to take the challenge along with her: Adele, Michael Rapino, Vincent Herbert, and Arthur Fogel.

You've got 24 hours, guys!
