The 22 Jump Street star and his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum took on the chilly challenge together, getting a huge bucket of ice water dumped on them in a nondescript location in the dead of night. As the water poured down, Jenna screamed through it, with Channing bear hugging her to keep her from running away.
"#ALSIceBucketChallenge accepted by me & @jennaldewan!" he tweeted Wednesday. The duo nominated a list of stars to take the challenge next, including, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Kate Mara, Janet Jackson, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep and Daniel Day Lewis.
Channing and Jenna are just the latest famous couple to accept the challenge. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner also took it on together as well.
Since the Ice Bucket Challenge went viral, $53.3 million has been donated to the ALS Association, which raises money for research for Lou Gehrig's Disease.
