Congratulations to 5 Seconds of Summer, who won the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Lyric Video for "Don't Stop," beating out Demi Lovato, who has been campaigning aggressively for votes.

The guys picked up their VMA moonman award on the red carpet, with MTV tweeting the great news: "AHHH! Congrats @Luke5SOS @Michael5SOS @Ashton5SOS @Calum5SOS on your #VMA win for Best Lyric Video!"

Michael Clifford tweeted: "Cannot believe we've just won a VMA... all of this is thanks to you guys. Best fans EVURRRRRRRR. I love you"
