It was only a matter of time before the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge got animated.
Homer Simpson took his shirt off for the cause, challenging "Flanders, Lenny...and Flanders again" as well as Donald Trump, before splashing himself with a glass of ice water. "Ooh that's cold," he said, pretending to shiver.
Naturally, his son Bart wasn't going to let him get away with that. So, he waited for the right moment to give Homer the ultimate chilly challenge, flying above him in a helicopter.
Before Homer could get too many more faux shivers out, Bart dumped a ton of cold-related things, including hockey players, penguins, a polar bear, Santa Claus and an ice cream truck on him, giving his signature laugh for effect. D'oh!
Since the challenge went viral earlier this month, real-life people and celebs alike have been taking the challenge to raise money for the ALS Association, which will use the money to fund research for Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Olivia Wilde even took her challenge a step further when she jokingly did her challenge with a bucket of ice-cold "breast milk," claiming she couldn't find any water. With her help and many others, over $94.3 million has been donated to the organization as a result of the Ice Bucket Challenge as of Wednesday.
