Wait, what? Didn't Kim Kardashian just get named GQ "Woman of the Year" last week? There was the big awards event and it was a whole thing...?!

Yes, Kim did receive a GQ "Woman of the Year" award, but that's not her whole title. Kim was named BRITISH GQ's "Woman of the Year," and the U.S. version of the popular men's mag wants to make it very clear that they had nothing to do with the award.

After they started receiving messages from less-than-impressed fans, the US version of the mag took to Twitter to clear the air, writing this on Monday morning:
So, that settles that. Kim is British GQ's "Woman of the Year" and they're obviously standing by their decision, but outside of the UK, poor Kim will just have to settle for being one half of the "WORLD'S Most Talked About Couple," a title which was given to KimYe on their Vogue cover.

Hmm...you know what? We'd be OK with that...
