Ed Sheeran is sorry. Not for writing that Niall Horan and Ellie Goulding diss track, but for basically calling Miley Cyrus a stripper.

The ginger singer has recently revealed that his Miley diss on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards was actually a result of a bit too much alcohol. You know, he was having a Kayne moment.

"There was a thing that happened around a year ago involving Miley Cyrus... I was at an after-party at the Grammys, had a bit [to drink]... and there was a red carpet at this after-party...I just had a bit of a rant which I didn't really mean. I woke up the next morning and got this anxiety thing," he explained during a recent interview.

"I said [something] along the lines of, 'You're voice is amazing, your songs are amazing, just stop twerking.' I didn't say it in the nicest way and I do genuinely love her music and think her voice is great...I don't really know what to do. I'll find a way to [apologize]."

What Ed exactly said about her infamous moves was that, "Twerking is what strippers do. It's a fact. If you go to a strip club, not that I go to strip clubs, but if you go to a strip club, they twerk. You shouldn't be encouraging little kids to twerk. If I had a daughter of mine, I wouldn't want her twerking."

"When I first heard "Wrecking Ball", I thought it was a brilliant song. But the video distracts too much from it," he continued.

Obviously, Miley was pissed about his little remarks. So when he won at the MTV Video Music Awards a few weeks ago, she lipped the words "a**hole" to him as he walked by. Ouch.

Think Miley will forgive Ed? Whose side are you on?
