Yes, you read that right.

Lindsay Lohan is claiming she had kind of a strange "celebrity sighting," alleging that she handled Whitney Houston's body bag while she was performing her community service at the morgue. And no, not the empty body bag.

The embattled actress told the Telegraph that she still thinks the punishment was a little harsh and then casually name-dropped with Whitney. "It's different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston," she explained.

The timing actually does seem to sync up, but TMZ spoke with an official from the Coroner's Office and they're calling her bluff.

First of all, they say that Whitney was never in a body bag (she was wrapped in plastic with a sheet cover). They also claim that her autopsy was performed on a Sunday and she was gone by Monday morning and confirmed that nobody from the probation program had any sort of contact with the body.

It stands to reason. You would think with such a high-profile person and situation, they would make sure only a very select group of people would even have access to the body.
