Cara Delevingne is out to prove she's more than just a pretty face.

The supermodel has made no secret that what she really wants to do is act, and now she's scored her first lead role!

Cara is set to star in the film adaptation of Paper Towns, based on the popular young adult book by John Green...as in the same guy who wrote The Fault in Our Stars. So yeah, this is pretty major, and she already got a ringing endorsement on Twitter from the author himself. Cara will play Margo Roth Spiegelman, a mysterious teen who suddenly disappears. And the male lead character Quentin is being played by a TFIOS alumni: Nat Wolff.

The movie is slated for release in July 2015 and we can't wait to see Cara on the big screen. Congrats, girl!
