Slenderman Halloween Costumes Being Sold in the Same Town Where Two Girls Attacked Their Friend

Talk about was just a few months ago that two 12-year-old girls inspired by Slenderman stabbed their best friend 19 times in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, and now local stores are selling a Halloween costume of the fictional horror character.

Parents expressed surprise and outrage that Halloween stores such as Party City and Spirit Halloween are making money from the horrific crime that occurred there so recently. The "Slenderman Party Suit" retails for $40.

The young victim in the stabbing, who miraculously survived, is recovering and has returned to school. "The girl is finally back in school and feeling good and I think that this would set her back," one parent told Fox 6 News.

We couldn't agree more, and wonder what kind of parent would actually buy their child this costume for Halloween.

Morgan Geyser, one of the alleged attackers, was found unfit to stand trial and committed for treatment, while Anissa Weier was ordered to be examined by a doctor to see if she's mentally competent to stand trial herself.

Would you ever wear the Slenderman costume?
